Italian Lessons
Lessons are tailored according to your particular needs and are planned based on what you want to learn and achieve, whether you are a beginner or you already speak some Italian. All courses will be specific to your language level and the situations in which you need to use the language.
Your Italian will be assessed throughout the course in a very informal way to record your progress and to enable you to see how you are getting on.
Below is an overview of the courses and levels I offer:
Online Lessons
All the courses I offer are taught using a number of video calling applications such as Skype, Zoom, FaceTime and Microsoft Teams.
Conversing in Italian
These lessons aim to provide interesting and enjoyable classes with an emphasis on speaking. Lots of interesting and useful topics are covered every week, giving students the opportunity to practice their spoken Italian.
Holiday Italian
Learn how to order food and drinks, book a hotel room, ask for directions, make purchases in shops, travel by bus, train and plane…all the necessary basics to help you get by whilst you are on holiday in Italy!!!
Beginners Italian
It aims at teaching you the Italian words and phrases you need in order to cope with everyday situations as a visitor to Italy. Topics covered will include asking people how they are, expressing likes and dislikes, using the euro, travelling etc…
Elementary Italian
It aims at teaching you the Italian words and phrases you need in order to cope with everyday situations in Italy. Topics covered will include reporting a problem, describing yourself and your interests, talking about your holidays, talking about future events etc…
Intermediate Italian
It focuses on building your confidence and skills whilst dealing with topical issues. Topics covered will include describing events in the past and future, Italian fashion and politics, the north-south divide, regional food…
Advanced Italian
The main focus of the class will be on speaking and listening skills, and topical issues and matters of general interest will be discussed. You will be able to listen to extracts from Italian radio, read magazine articles and give your opinion.
Business Italian
This course will be specific to your language level and business requirements. You will learn how to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, write letters, obtain information, listen to other people or converse socially.
